Submission Guidelines
The 21st ICOM will be held from August 30 to 31, 2025, at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center in Taiwan. This conference will cover a variety of topics in traditional medicine, providing a platform to showcase exceptional research and clinical insights. For this event, poster presentations will utilize an electronic format. Posters will be displayed on digital screens and accessible via the conference website, where participants can view them on personal devices such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops.   • Date: Saturday, August 30 – Sunday, August 31, 2025 (2 days)
  • Location: National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center
  • Theme: Traditional Medicine: From Evidence-Based Medicine to Integrative Medicine
  • Organizer: ISOM Taiwan Chapter

Poster Submission Guidelines
 
Eligibility: Open to clinical practitioners, scholars, experts, medical students, and individuals in related fields within traditional medicine.
Requirements: Accepted poster presenters must register for the 21st International Conference on Oriental Medicine (ICOM) to be eligible to present.
Submission Deadline: From now until February 28, 2025
Submission Method: Submit through the submission form available on this website. Click Here  
Theme: Traditional Medicine: From Evidence-Based Medicine to Integrative Medicine (please refer to the conference website for detailed topic areas).
Required Documents for Submission:
1. Abstract File:
  • Content: Author(s), affiliation(s), and an abstract in English (up to 800 words).
  • Format: Submit in both original Word and PDF files.
  • Naming Convention: Use passport number + English name + “Abstract” (e.g., 888800088WangDaMingAbstract).
2. Poster Output File:
  • Content: Author(s), affiliation(s), abstract, and full paper.
  • Format: Original Word file, formatted PDF, and JPG file (PDF file size no more than 1MB, A4 size in portrait orientation: 40 cm x 71.11 cm).
  • Naming Convention: Use passport number + English name (e.g., 888800088WangDaMing).​​
 
Poster Formatting Requirements
1. Multiple authors and affiliations should be numbered, and the presenting author’s name and affiliation should be underlined.
2. The abstract should include the title, author(s) and affiliation(s), objectives, methods, results, conclusion, keywords, and corresponding author, all in English, following academic journal format.
3. Main content: Sections should include Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, with a maximum length of 1 page.
4. Keywords: Each keyword should have an initial capital letter.
Submissions will be reviewed by the ICOM Academic Committee. Notifications of acceptance, revisions, or rejections will be sent individually. High-quality posters may be invited for oral presentations.
 
Additional Notes
  • To encourage young scholars, a poster competition will be held. The top three submissions will be honored at the conference banquet.
  • Posters must be submitted exclusively through the official conference submission form (fax or mail submissions are not accepted). Registration must be completed to receive attendance and presentation certificates.

第21屆ICOM將於2025年8月30日至31日在台灣臺大醫院國際會議中心舉行。第21屆ICOM將會針對傳統醫學的多項主題進行交流，並為了使優秀的傳統醫學研究成果和臨床經驗得以在此次國際學術會議上發表，本次會議壁報發表將改用電子壁報的方式呈現，除電子壁報機外及在大會網站上同步呈現，參會者可以在大會期間藉由個人電子裝置如手機、平板、或是筆記型電腦線上閱讀；目前徵集電子壁報發表者，詳情如下：

2.壁報輸出檔案：
(1).下列檔案內容應包括：作者及所屬單位、論文摘要、論文全文、
(2).檔案格式：原始WORD檔、排版後的PDF檔、排版後的JPG檔，PDF單獨檔案大小1MB以內、尺寸：直式A4大小 (長40x寬71.11cm)
(3).所有檔案名稱請使用護照號碼+英文姓名(範例：888800088WangDaMing)
 
※壁報輸出投稿格式：
1.若有多位作者及所屬單位，則以編號區分，發表者在作者姓名及所屬單位下劃線。
2.壁報發表的摘要內容需包含標題、作者及所屬單位、目的-方法-結果-結論、關鍵字及通訊作者等，並以英文書寫，形式可參考學術期刊的論文格式。
正文：依序為引言、研究方法、研究結果、結論，最多不超過1頁。
頁尾關鍵字：每個單字首字母需大寫。
壁報投稿後將由ICOM學術委員會審查，並個別通知是否通過，或需補件/退件，擇優有機會邀請為口頭報告。
※為鼓勵優秀年輕學者，我們將辦理投稿壁報競賽，擇優前三名在大會晚宴上表揚
※壁報提交方式：僅由本大會提供之論文投稿表單提交（不接受傳真或郵寄），仍須完成註冊才得以領取出席證明及發表證明。
